Missing the prompts and the community?
Come on in. We saved a spot for you.
The Writing Your Grief course was great, wasn’t it? Having that regular practice of writing. Knowing there was always someone on the other side of the screen who “gets it.”
The 30 day course is over, but you don’t have to stop writing. You don’t have to lose your community, either.
As part of the Tribe, you have special privileges: the alumni community group, discounts to the original course, special alumni-only events, and first crack at new courses. You’re also invited to join the weekly writing community. One prompt, once a week, with a whole gang of fellow writers and grievers in your own private facebook group.
This is it! This is your personal invitation.
Having come through the original Writing Your Grief course, you know how powerful the seemingly simple act of writing can be. You also know what it means to find true kinship and connection. We all need places where we can speak what’s true, without fear of correction, judgement, or false comfort.
If you’d like to keep writing, but you don’t need a prompt every day, this is your special, Tribe of After invitation to join the once-a-week writing group. This group functions much like our original 30 day course, with a prompt coming to your inbox once a week, and a private online page to share your words.
Enrollment is always open, so you don’t have to wait for an official start date.
The writing here tends to be a bit longer, with prompts a bit more complex than the 30 day series. The pace is slower. Because I’m not in the group space very often, and because alumni folks are awesome, writers in this community really lean on each other, offering their support and encouragement. And while it’s definitely not a requirement, many writers in this group have polished their writing with intent to share it with a wider audience. If that’s your dream, you’ll find encouragement for that, too.
The weekly group is a great place to dive more deeply into your writing within a community committed to the long-haul of grief.
I want you to have a place where your grief is honored and respected, and I want you to keep writing.
The weekly group is growing steadily, and we’ve saved a place for you.
Access to the weekly prompt, and the online community, is based on a monthly membership. You can begin your membership at any time. You can even pause it if something big comes up, and of course, you can cancel it (and restart it!) at any time.
Whether you write on your own with the weekly prompts, or you continue to write and connect with the larger community, I encourage you to keep leaning into your words. Keep searching for your voice. Keep listening.
I created the weekly on-line community for you. Come claim your spot at the table.
I hope you’ll join us. Enrollment is always open.
Membership in this community is only available to those who have gone through at least one session of the Writing Your Grief 30-day e-course. If you haven’t yet taken that course, please join the next available session by clicking this link.
The weekly writing group is available for $10 a month (this is a recurring membership group). Join us by clicking the button below. After you set up your payment, you MUST enter your email address when prompted in order to get on the weekly mailing list. Really! Otherwise we won’t know you’ve arrived (and that means you won’t get your weekly prompt!)
Once you’ve joined via paypal, your browser will redirect to the sign up page. Enter the email address where you’d like prompts sent (make sure you do this!!). You’ll also receive your invitation to the private group Facebook page, so look for that within a few days of joining us. Questions? Send a message. Tech issues? Check out this page.
